My favorite comfort food with a difference.
¾ c macaroni, uncooked
1/3 c sour cream
1 c shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/3 c milk
Paprika
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cook macaroni in salted, boiling water until al dente and drain well. Return to saucepan . Add sour cream, cheese, and milk; mix well. Pour into small, well-greased baking dish; sprinkle with paprika. Bake about 25 minutes.
Here's a nice hearty snack.
1 small can chopped ripe olives
½ c chopped green onions
1 ½ c shredded cheddar cheese
½ c mayonnaise
½ tsp. curry powder
½ tsp. chili powder
6 split English muffins
Mix all ingredients and spread on muffins. Broil until bubbly. Quarter and serve. Also good if you add shrimp, crab, or tuna to the spread.
